Truth matters—especially when someone powerful would rather we didn't know it.

Light of Day News exists to shine a light on the facts behind the headlines, political rhetoric, viral claims, and carefully crafted talking points that shape public opinion.

We will dig deeper than what happened and ask the questions that matter:

Who benefits? Who pays? Who has power? Who doesn't? And what aren't we being told?

We will examine public records, credible research, legislation, financial interests, historical context, and the real-world consequences of public policy. We will follow the money when the money helps explain the story. We will challenge misinformation whether it comes from politicians, corporations, advocacy organizations, religious leaders, media personalities, or our own side of a political debate.

Most importantly, we will show our work.

Whenever practical, we'll give readers the sources and evidence necessary to examine the facts themselves. We don't want anyone to believe something simply because Light of Day News said it.

We want people to know why it's true.

Because misinformation thrives in darkness.

Accountability begins with facts.

And before we can change what is wrong, we have to see it clearly.
